According to this article posted in the Wall Street Journal, scary movies and how you react to them can help (or hinder) whether your date finds you attractive. A famous 1986 experiment from Indiana University psychologist Dolf Zillmann states in his “snuggle theory” that the more distressed the woman was by the movie, the more attractive her date found her. Of course, just the opposite was true for the men…the less distressed the man was, the more attractive his date found him.
Guys, whether you’re taking her to a movie at the theatre this weekend or spending a quiet evening at home watching Friday the 13th….make sure you show her your “tough” side! And ladies, this is a great opportunity to snuggle a little closer to your date!
